(Any) Body Oddly Propped,

2015

Doug and Mike Starn, American, born 1961
2015-6737

This monumental glass, steel, and bronze sculpture by identical twin brothers Doug and Mike Starn is a continuation of their exploration of organic systems through root and branch forms and a direct response to the arboretum-like character of the Princeton campus. The extraordinary colors of the glass inside the 18-foot-tall frames are created by a new glass-dying technique pioneered in Germany.
