Creating spaces of gathering that welcome the presence of visitors motivates the artistic practice of R&R Studios. Exaggerating the scale of familiar forms and employing brightly colored materials to conjure warmth and joy, the artists aim to bring domestic comforts into the natural landscape. This intermingling of interior and exterior spaces mirrors their interest in uniting the life of the individual mind and the social dynamism of the campus community, which together define the university.
