Description
Globular form covered box decorated with iron-brown designs under a milky opalescent glaze that appears blue where it pools. The cover has a lotus-bud finial encircled by a crenellated ring and decorative bands. The underside of the lid is unglazed. The exterior wall of body is divided into panels by double lines. Thes panels alternate in decoration between triangular leaf shapes and branched tree forms. At the base is a foot ring and the bottom is unglazed.
